2nd Place went to Clint Nowell and Kevin Burke of Sam Houston State who weighed in 17.80 pounds. The team weighed in only four fish. However, one of them was a 10.61 pound behemoth which is the biggest bass caught in the history of ACA competition. The big bass qualified Clint Nowell for an all expenses paid trip to Lago Vista Lodge located at Lake Guerrero, Mexico. Because Nowell was using an All Star rod, the team won the Berkley Big Bass awards of (2) All Star rods. They also collected Frogg Toggs raingear, Costa Del Mar sunglasses and an assortment of Sebile lures for their 2nd place finish.
"I was making really long casts with 10 pound Berkley Big Game line using a Double ZZ Custom baits 5 inch finesse worm on a shaky head in Nuclear Melon color. We were fishing in about 6 foot of water when she bit and after she jumped the first time my partner and I almost died as we started raising the trolling motor and engine as she ran straight at and under the boat. After peeling line and getting her back around toward us she jumped two more times but on the second jump my partner was able to scoop up the biggest bass of my life"

We caught some big fish on the south side of the elephant rocks yesterday, two 8 pounders, four 7 pounders, and a bunch over 4lbs, the lake has leveled out, and we are doing better now than a few weeks ago.
I want some of those jigs and worms yall make, send them to me,
or just bring them down when yall come.
It was great talking to both of you at the TX Fishing & Outdoor Show in Arlington. One of the straight tail worms (purple monstor) that I bought from you Sat., I tried out Sun. on Lake Cypress Springs. The fishing was really slow so I decided to put on the purple monster and caught a nice little chunk on first cast, then second, then third and so on. My boyfriend wanted one when I started catching fish and he begin doing the same. One of the fish I caught would have gone for an easy 5 pounds. Too bad I wasnt fishing a tournament! We fish drop-shot most of the time and your worms are even better than the roboworms.
You told me about a color you made that I dont see on the site. It was a watermelon/neon. A green pumpkin with some purple in it would be a nice color also. I would like to place an order but I needed to find out about the color watermelon/neon or any other new colors you may have.
Thank you,

Thanks for the worms. I won first place and 9 of my 10 keeper fish came on the Hot Tamale. You were right on as far as what color to through on Richland Chambers. I would have had big bass, but missed it by .02 to a guy throwing your worm (some purple color). That is twice that he has beat me on big bass with your worm. Oh well. Thanks again for the pointers regarding color and the worms, they are working great.
Any suggestions for Lewisville before I place my monthly order? :)
